Hello! I’m Areeb Khan, a Senior at the University of Texas at Arlington pursuing a degree in Computer Science with a minor in Business Administration. My academic interests span Artificial Intelligence, data science, web development, and exploring the artistic side of computer science. Beyond academics, I proudly serve as the Vice President of Student Government, representing over 45,000 students, and as the President of the Engineering Student Council, where I work to foster collaboration, leadership, and innovation within the UTA community.

• Achievements: Executed the most successful recruitment campaign post-COVID and increased

• Represent the interests of over 45,000 students at UT Arlington within the UT System.
• Collaborate with student leaders from 14 institutions to research, develop, and present impactful
recommendations to the UT System Board of Regents, influencing policies affecting over 240,000
students system-wide.
• Strategize and exchange innovative ideas to enhance the student experience, bringing actionable
insights back to UT Arlington for university improvement.
• Represent ~10,000 engineering students and serve as an umbrella for all engineering organizations.
• Implement initiatives focusing on professional, career, and personal development.
• Collaborate and plan initiatives with other engineering organizations.
• Achievements: Increased membership tenfold, restructured the organization, and organized the
largest-attended event in years (~1,800 attendees).
• Secured and hosted the bid for the East Regional Conference.
• Led planning teams, logistics, and coordinated with 10 universities across multiple states.
• Arranged professional company tours (e.g., American Airlines, Herzog).
• Lead the Central Region’s leadership team and coordinated regional efforts.
• Supervised a community of ~500 residents, organizing educational and recreational programs.
